St. Salvator’s Church host an educational tour both around and inside the grounds every Sunday from 2.30pm led by our Church Warden and accompanied by another member. All visitors are welcome to attend.

1st Sunday of the month – A Celebration of the Holy Communion (Order 2) with Sung Gloria, Hymns and Sermon

2nd Sunday of the month – Morning Prayer (Order 1) with Anglican Chant, Hymns and Sermon

3rd Sunday of the month – Morning Prayer (Order 2) with Anglican Chant, Hymns and Sermon

4th Sunday of the month – All Age Family Service of Morning Prayer for use on Sunday (Order 3) led by Revd Tim and the children of our Sunday School with Anglican Chant, All Age Sermon, Hymns and Junior Choir

5th Sunday of the month – Donagh Group Service of Morning Prayer for use on Sunday (Order 3) with Anglican Chant, Hymns and Sermon

Brief Architectural Description

Late C18th transitional nave; five-stage tower, the lower three being C17th; Early English apsidal chancel and vestry, 1874, by William Henry Lynn; chancel rib-vaulted and with internal blind arcade; much stone-carving.

Weddings in St. Salvator’s

Due to St Salvator’s unique location on the Castle Leslie Estate, the Diocese may grant permission for those members of the Church of Ireland and our sister Anglican / Episcopalian Churches whose wedding reception is taking place at Castle Leslie to have their Marriage Solemnized in St Salvator’s. Anyone who wishes to seek this permission should contact The Revd Tim Irvine at [email protected]. All weddings at St Salvator’s are conducted according to the rites and ceremonies of the Church of Ireland by a duly authorised Anglican Priest.
